I deliberated for quite some time and decided that a letter is the most appropriate medium to convey my wishes – writing grants me the necessary time to calibrate my words.

I do not know the origin of Vampires, nor our ultimate terminus. Yet, physics remains the foundation of all natural beings; it reveals the fundamental rules of the world.

If science is the underlying rule, then civilization is the trajectory of life, passed down through generations of speaking and listening. These tracks embody so many ordinary days with extraordinary meaning. They serve to remind us of who we are, even though we are vampires now.
